After moving to the Gold Coast a few years ago with my two small dogs, beach outings have become a treasured part of our lives.

 

But the sandy mess — on shoes, bags, and paws — was a constant frustration. I searched for a stylish, functional solution within Australia without success, and then discovered a range of bags made from EVA foam that were lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and sand-resistant — exactly what I needed.

That discovery led to the creation of Pelican Pouch, a brand that would blend coastal style with everyday practicality. What began as the perfect beach bag quickly became my go-to for everything else from gym sessions, BBQs, sporting games, market days, and even home organisation.

I wanted to offer a variety of coastal inspired bags and accessories, and so I added neoprene totes to our range for a softer, more flexible option, plus accessories to personalise and enhance each bag's function.
